libsort-versions-perl software package provides Perl module for sorting of revision (and similar) numbers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libsort-versions-perl
libsort-versions-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libsort-versions-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libsort-versions-perl *
You will get with libsort-versions-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
